This session will be an untutored group drawing session led by life model and occult enthusiast, Rebecca Collins-Thompson. While it is a facilitated session with exercises and prompts, it is untutored by design, allowing your practice to be self-led and focusing on unlearning expectations around how you should approach your art to find pure creative expression.
A slice of Lost Souls Pizza and a slush are included in your ticket price to be enjoyed in the break; this session will work with different practices to access our inner world to inspire our waking art, all enjoyed with some vampire pizza.
In the leadup to this event, it will support your practice to start recording a dream journal each morning. If you have had any notable dreams in the past, record these too.
Meeting on the full moon, this session of Esoteric Etchings will delve into the inner world within our mind to access dreamscapes and visuals to inspire our artwork.
Scrying is the occult practice of staring with a soft gaze to enter a light trache state to receive visions, as a tool to tap into the deep spiritual knowledge held within our subconscious. Inspired by the growing popularity of Freud and Jung’s psychoanalysis, it was appropriated by the surrealist as a way to tap into the unconscious mind and its hidden desires, allowing for pure expression free from conscious, rational control. Dream analysis, fixed point staring, fire scrying and liquid scrying were all used in various forms by noteable surrealists to inspire their works. Occultist and surrealist Ithell Colquhoun adapted the practice of liquid scrying, scattering powdered charcoal on the surface of the water and capturing its patterns with floating paper to gaze at the resulting shapes for inspiration.
In this session, we will experiment with different scrying and dreamwork practices to connect with our intuition and inner world to inspire our work. We will try different methods to explore the practice, including candle, black bowl and fixed point scrying. The goal of the session will be experimentation rather than creating technical finished pieces – using our imagination to play with shape, tone and colour and experiment with different styles and ideas. We will explore ideas for further development from dreamwork, using dream journals as inspiration.
Basic drawing materials (paper and graphite pencils), will be provided. Please feel free to bring a sketchbook if you prefer, and any more exciting materials you’d like to experiment with.

On Monday 22nd June, Lost Souls Pizza is proud to welcome G. Tom Mac, the writer and voice behind the iconic 1987 cult classic anthem “Cry Little Sister” from The Lost Boys, for a very special live appearance in Camden.
Join us for an intimate 20-minute live performance as G. Tom Mac brings the haunting, era-defining track to life in the unique surroundings of Lost Souls Pizza. A rare chance to experience the song up close in an atmospheric setting made for lovers of cult cinema, 80s nostalgia and timeless soundtracks.
Following the performance, guests will have the opportunity to take part in a meet & greet — the perfect chance to say hello, grab a photo and celebrate an absolute classic of vampire cinema history.
